Short Term Rentals:
Short term rental FYI- This is from the ADA Alex Ducros Morning. The Louisiana First Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed Judge Keller’s ruling finding the operation of short-term rentals violates the Unified Development Code and are strictly commercial uses. Mr. Plauche will likely ask the Louisiana Supreme Court to review this and Judge Keller’s rulings, which may take another 6 mos. or longer. Perhaps less time. It is always hard to say. Stay tuned – this is another big win, but please note that Judge Keller’s judgment is not final and enforceable per sé until the opportunity to seek review by the Louisiana Supreme Court expires or they weigh in.
